Jumbo felt very sad and Mamma Ellie could not console him."What is the matter Jumbo?"...............Jumbo refused to answer and continued to laze in the African sun.He had been in this mood for a week now.It would soon be Christmas and he really wanted to be in the Christmas Play with the sheep and the cows and the "Little Donkey."
Oh dear! What are we going to do to get Jumbo a part in the Christmas Play.Mamma Ellie did not know about Jumbo's wish and she was worried about him.Is he perhaps coming down with 'flu.You do know that even in the hot December weather we did have some "Jungle 'Flu" about.
Perhaps in a day or two we may get to know a little more about Jumbo's precious wish.
This is the spot where Jumbo was having a laze.His best friend Zebbie was looking for him but Jumbo kept well hidden.
