I must be in the Christmas Play....Fifth Post....
Jumbo was all ears and waited for Mamma Ellie to get on with her story..............A long time ago Jumbo's great grandad was in a zoo in Russia with all the family.Great grandad had a part in a circus too!One very cold day there was a big fuss about three kings who were passing through the village and following a special star.........Just as Mamma Ellie was telling the story,there was a sound of Jungle drums,which meant.............everybody had to be quiet and listen.A loud voice bellowed" If you want a part in the Christmas Play please meet at the big rock near the waterhole."Without wasting a second Jumbo rushed towards the waterhole bumping into Gerry Giraffe,who looked most annoyed as he was having his leaf lunch from a juicy looking tree."Hey there Jumbo do be careful young chap,everybody is rather busy with Christmas stuff"Sorry Gerry I really have to move fast.

The meeting was well attended,Mr Mantha Panther sorted the music and the instrument players.Jumbo was not chosen for any of these parts .He left the meeting feeling very sad indeed.Poor little Jumbo,Zebbie was chosen to play the Christmas bells during the singing of the Christmas Carols.He tried to comfort Jumbo ......it did not work!
